Tarutao Marine NP
(Satun)

Due to its isolation, and creepy history as a cruel prison Tarutao Marine National Park was unchartered by tourists for decades. After opening up to the public in 1982, Tarutao and its archipelago of 50 islands started making a mark in Thailand.
Today, Tarutao and its nearby islands has become a sea lover's paradise. Tourist can stroll on its white sandy beach, explore its mangrove forest and canals, or walk back through time and learn about its thrilling history of pirates and prisoners.
The archipelago is home to numerous of scenic islands a few are definitely worth highlighting. Those hungry for some untouched beauty can venture further away and hide out in tranquility on the beaches of Adang and Rawi Island, or witness the mysterious beauty of Ko Hin Ngam, where the beach is peppered with round rocks that glimmer when they are rinsed by the waves. Though you definitely can't go wrong with just kicking back on the powdery sands of Ko Lipe.
