Always listed among the best dive sites in the world, Moo Ko Similan Marine National Park is an astonishing underwater paradise that thrills divers time after time.
The archipelago of nine islands is home to rich coral reefs inhabited by at least 54 species of colourful fishes as well as hundreds of other marine life.
Many divers never forget this small archipelago after gliding past the vibrant soft coral colony, being surrounded with a school of barracuda or covered in the shadows of a gigantic manta ray.

Thap Lamu Pier, located some 20 kilometres north of Thai Muang, Phangnga Province, is the nearest point to Similan. A boat trip between the pier and the islands takes around 2 hours. No regular boat service is available but there are several local tour operators near the pier and park officials can help make arrangements for you. Some of these agencies also operate boats between the park and Phuket.
